Welcome to Chesapeake Junior Academy!
This is our foundation first start (grassroots) and academy program and embraces all of Arsenal's player development philosophies. The club continues to evolve and has now worked to partner with a trusted leader in youth soccer development Beach FC. Both clubs have a central purpose that is shared to simply create an environment for players to grow and love the game, it is a players game and children should enjoy, laugh and above all have fun across all competitive levels of the game. This program focuses on the fundamentals to provide a healthy and positive environment for your child to begin building individual technical skill and enjoy the game. WE ARE ARSENAL FC.

Our grassroots approach consists of our first start program Chesapeake Junior Academy for players ages 4 through 10. We are excited to expanding our Chesapeake Junior Academy and adding additional training session for players that may be ready for more challenging levels of play as we partner with Beach FC. This is a transition program to prepare players to begin play at our Challenge level and match play at the Advance level for 8U through 10U through Tidewater Soccer League this is in addition to teams that we may have from 11U to 13U. Again, our focus is to transition all of our Academy players through our player pathway to our current highest level of play to Travel soccer through Virginia Premier Soccer League for 10U to 19U.

We will continue to build our Chesapeake Junior Academy and Technical Staff with Beach FC to support our efforts. The Academy offers weekly training session (45 to 60 minutes) designed by our joint program staff and assisted by additional volunteer coaches. This program is offered to 4U to 10U players and the players are grouped by age and ability. In addition to weekly training all players in this program will have match day on Saturday mornings. This is the opportunity for the players to have fun, try the techniques they worked on during training and play in a competitive match. Our program directors and staff coaches oversee every aspect of the process and work for all players to have a positive experience both in training and on match day.
